Is MJ really Dead?

I hate to be the conspiracy theorist, but does anyone else find it strange that MJ is going on to a better place right after he signed a non-refundable deal for 50 shows around the world? AEG Live must be out quite a bit of money because they are going to have to honor MJ’s contract as well as refunding all the ticket sales to the fans. I would hate to be the owners of this company. I am sure the contract and concerts were insured as well so why not pass the loss off to the insurance company who will in turn make it more expensive to obtain concert insurance and make the concert prices even higher. Concert goers will eventually fit the bill for this due to increased costs of insurance passed onto the consumer.

Where do you really think this island is that Tu Pac and Biggy are hiding and do you think they are going to allow the King of Pop’s raft to stay much longer?

Friends are the 1st Testament

Figuring out who to trust is the first part of my saga. I have done too much for those around me to encounter these problems. As I grow older, I seem to have less and less time to worry about others. Is it too vain to consider my own feelings before others? I think not. I am not trying to say that I only care about my own feelings, but at least hold my own feelings primarily to those who I consider friends.

I must weed out all those who are beginning to corrupt my growth, prosperity and especially my happiness. Difficulties arise when I begin to consider who is a true friend. A preemptive strike is probably the best way to go. Sun Tzu said “to keep your enemies closer” but that may not be the best thing in my case. I bet Sun Tzu never felt the pressure of others under tremendous amounts of alcohol.

My happiness is my primary concern.

30 – Onward and Upward

30 is the age that all other is measured. What have you accomplished? Have you purchased your first house? Are you making enough money? Are you married? Any children? Would your friends do anything for you?

These are all the questions that a person begins to ask once this epic birthday approaches. I have begun to ask myself these questions as I have just turned 30. Some of the answers are beginning to surprise me. I am not trying to feel down on myself at all because I am right were I need to be in order to change these things. How can I get here without knowing that this day was coming? Which is more important for immediate change?

As self awareness has just begun to settle in, I will keep you posted on the changes as they come.
